Weapon threat at PGSS not credible says RCMP
PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP has investigated a threat made at Prince George Secondary School, who found it not to be credible.
Yesterday (Wed) after school, an altercation occurred between students off school property. During the incident, a concerning remark was made about bringing a weapon to school today (Thurs).
Administration and district staff were immediately notified and contacted the RCMP. Mounties followed up with the people involved and have confirmed that there is no access to weapons and no credible threat to students or staff.
Police officers were positioned outside of the school as a precaution and to help reassure students and staff as they arrived to school Thursday morning.
