Search of Hudson Bay Slough related to Kira Hammerstrom investigation says RCMP

PRINCE GEORGE — The RCMP’s underwater recovery team is searching the Hudson Bay Slough today (Thursday).

Prince George RCMP says the search is a follow up to some items located there earlier in the Kira Hammerstrom investigation. The RCMP Police Dog Search team is also on scene.

Kira has been missing since May 13 and was last seen on Upland Street at 8:30 that night. Family, friends, and community volunteers gathered on Tuesday to begin a community led search for her.
