Meet the salmon about to be released into the Nechako River

There are tens of thousands of salmon nearly ready to move from the Spruce City Wildlife Association’s hatchery tanks into the Nechako River over the coming weeks. You can help release the salmon down the famous “fry slide” on Sunday, May 31, between 11 am and 1 pm. It’s a free family event with food, entertainment, and community groups on site.
