Motorcyclist killed in MVI near Bear Lake

BEAR LAKE — One person is dead following a motor vehicle incident on Highway 97 near Bear Lake on Sunday.

Prince George RCMP say the incident occurred just before 5 p.m. and involved a motorcycle and a pickup truck.

Police say the motorcyclist was found deceased at the scene while the driver of the pickup suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.

“What we are looking for from the public is anyone with dash camera video that was driving in that area at the time of the collision, or anyone who witnessed the incident that has not yet spoken to police.
