Spruce Kings add Max Mahoney to their 2026-27 roster
PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Spruce Kings have strengthened their roster for the 2026-27 BCHL season, announcing the commitment of forward Max Mahoney, a standout offensive player from the Ontario Junior Hockey League.
The 6-foot, 179-pound Toronto native joins the Spruce Kings after spending the past two seasons with the St. Michael’s Buzzers, where he established himself as one of the league’s most productive forwards.
Mahoney enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2025-26, recording 20 goals and 36 assists for 56 points in 41 regular-season games. He also contributed offensively in the playoffs, registering two goals and three assists in six postseason contests.
Over his OJHL career, Mahoney appeared in 100 regular-season games, compiling 40 goals and 61 assists for 101 points. He added five points in 12 playoff games, demonstrating both consistency and experience at the junior level.
