Update: BC AMBER Alert issued for missing 4-year-old boy in West Kelowna cancelled

WEST KELOWNA — Update: Mounties have cancelled the Amber Alert. Police say that the boy has been located safe in Vernon, although they didn’t give his condition.

Earlier: A BC AMBER Alert has been activated as police search for a four-year-old boy believed to have been abducted by a parent in West Kelowna.

RCMP say Ryan Atlas Andrews, who goes by Atlas, was reported missing on July 21. Investigators launched an immediate search and issued the province-wide alert as efforts continue to locate the child.

Atlas is described as Caucasian, standing 91 centimetres (three feet) tall and weighing about 23 kilograms (51 pounds). He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
