Prince George RCMP seeking public’s help locating missing woman

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a woman who has not been seen for nearly two weeks.

Police say 24-year-old Jasmine Robyn Zavaglia was last seen on the 1600-block of Queensway on July 18 and has not been heard from since.

Zavaglia is five-foot-seven and weighs approximately 99 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes and distinctive facial tattoos of a heart and a cross.

When she was last seen, Zavaglia was wearing a tan sweatsuit and carrying a checkered backpack.

RCMP are now appealing to the public for help in determining her whereabouts.

“We are reaching out to the public for assistance in locating Jasmine and are asking that if anyone sees her, they call the non-emergency line at 250-561-3300 to report it to a police officer,” said Corporal Jennifer Cooper, media spokesperson for the Prince George RCMP.

Police have not released any additional details about the circumstances of her disappearance but say efforts to locate her remain ongoing.

Anyone with information about Jasmine Robyn Zavaglia’s whereabouts is urged to contact Prince George RCMP or their local police department. Information can also be provided anonymously through Northern B.C. Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

RCMP are asking residents throughout Prince George and surrounding communities to keep an eye out for Zavaglia and report any possible sightings to police immediately.
