Camp nears as Cougars reload
PRINCE GEORGE – As summer vacation begins to wind down, the focus is quickly shifting back to hockey in Prince George.
For the Prince George Cougars, the calendar is turning toward one of the most important stretches of the year. Training camp opens August 26 at the CN Centre, giving players just a few more weeks to prepare before they compete for roster spots and the chance to help the club build on its recent success.
While many players are enjoying the final days of the off-season, General Manager and Head Coach Mark Lamb has remained busy preparing for the upcoming campaign. From evaluating roster depth to making personnel decisions and planning for training camp, the work of building another competitive team never truly stops.
