Shed fire on Barr Road under investigation

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Fire Rescue crews responded to an outbuilding fire on Barr Road Saturday evening that resulted in minor property damage and no reported injuries.

At approximately 7 p.m. on Aug. 16, crews from three Prince George fire halls were dispatched to the 2900 block of Barr Road following reports of a fire involving an outbuilding.

When firefighters arrived, they discovered a shed fully engulfed in flames. Crews also located a separate small fire in another abandoned building on the property. Both fires were quickly brought under control and extinguished.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
