Police presence surrounds Canada Post facility in BCR Industrial Site

PRINCE GEORGE — An RCMP presence early this morning (Sept.9) drew attention to the Canada Post office at 9598 Penn Road in the BCR Industrial Site in Prince George , where officers cordoned off the parking lot with police tape and restricted public access.

Witnesses reported seeing at least three RCMP vehicles on scene, along with officers entering and exiting the building throughout the morning. Some also observed what appeared to be a specialized RCMP robot being deployed inside the facility.

RCMP confirmed only that the situation is contained and that there is no risk to the public, but declined to release further details. The nature of the incident remains unknown, and officials have not indicated when additional information will be provided.
