Bortolon puts focus on jobs, housing and community services in Council bid
PRINCE GEORGE — Community advocate Sean Bortolon says creating and protecting jobs in Prince George must be a top priority as she seeks a seat on city council in the upcoming municipal election.
Bortolon recently announced her candidacy, bringing with her nearly 30 years of experience working with non-profit organizations, charities and community groups. Her platform focuses on economic development, affordable housing, community services and stronger relationships with senior levels of government.
“I’ve been a community advocate for many years, and I felt that I could bring my skills, my experience and my connections into this platform,” Bortolon said.
She believes her background in governance, strategic planning and community development would help bring balance and collaboration to council.
