T-Wolves men’s soccer team earns 2-2 draw with Spartans, women lose third straight

PRINCE GEORGE — The University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) Timberwolves soccer program is still looking for its first pair of wins in 2026. 

The T-Wolves men’s team earned another draw at Masich Place Friday (Sept. 11), tying the Trinity Western University Spartans 2-2. 

UNBC rallied back to tie the match twice with fourth-year defender Koss Nystedt scoring in the 45th minute and second-year midfielder and D.P. Todd Secondary alumnus Kaiden Young scoring in the 88th minute. Goalkeeper Callum Cuthbert made seven saves. 

The T-Wolves men’s soccer team has a record of zero wins, one loss and two draws in 2026, good for sixth in the Canada West Pacific Conference standings.
