Four people injured, one airlifted to hospital after vehicle rollover in South Cariboo

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — One patient was airlifted to hospital after a vehicle rolled down an embankment in the South Cariboo. 

Williams Lake RCMP say they received a report of the collision off Farwell Canyon Road near Riske Creek, approximately 50 kilometres southwest of Williams Lake, shortly before 7:00 a.m. Friday (Sept. 11). 

In a news release, RCMP say all four occupants of the vehicle were outside once first responders arrived. Two of the patients suffered minor injuries while the other two sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. 

While the cause of the collision is under investigation, RCMP believe impairment was not a factor.
