Nicole Fraser launches first bid for Prince George City Council
PRINCE GEORGE — Nicole Fraser is stepping into the municipal political arena for the first time, announcing her candidacy for Prince George City Council with a focus on collaboration, transparency and strategic growth.
Fraser, who has closely followed local government and worked both within and alongside City Hall through development and planning-related projects, said her decision to run stems from a desire to see stronger cooperation among elected officials.
“I love Prince George,” Fraser said. “We really need to work towards collaborative decision-making. Too often, council decisions appear split, and we’re not seeing the forward movement and change that our community deserves.”
A key priority for Fraser is positioning Prince George to take advantage of economic opportunities already arriving in the region. Rather than talking about creating a northern hub, she believes the city must recognize that status is already emerging through new industry and business investment.
