Quesnel councillor Laurey-Anne Roodenburg seeking re-election
QUESNEL — Longtime Quesnel city councillor Laurey-Anne Roodenburg says she is seeking another term on council, citing ongoing challenges facing the community and a desire to continue helping the city move forward.
Roodenburg is completing her fifth term as a councillor and has been active in the Quesnel community since moving to the city nearly 30 years ago.
Beyond her work at City Hall, Roodenburg has held several leadership roles in local government organizations. She previously served as president of the North Central Local Government Association and the Union of British Columbia Municipalities. She currently serves as president of the Local Government Leadership Academy, an organization focused on providing governance training and leadership development for local elected officials.
