PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Cougars have added another experienced forward to their lineup, acquiring 19-year-old Kash Andresen from the Moose Jaw Warriors.

In exchange, the Cougars are sending Moose Jaw a third-round selection in the 2027 WHL Prospects Draft and a conditional fifth-round pick in 2030.

General Manager and Head Coach Mark Lamb says Andresen is an experienced centre who should fit in well with the Cougars, describing him as a strong 200-foot player who is reliable in the face-off circle.

The Saskatoon product has recorded four points, including one goal and three assists, through six games to begin the 2026-27 season.

Last year, Andresen collected 14 goals and 18 assists for 32 points in 66 games. He also registered 52 penalty minutes, 87 shots on goal and nearly 500 face-off wins.

The six-foot-two, 191-pound forward has played 188 WHL regular-season games over three seasons with Moose Jaw and the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

Andresen also brings playoff experience to Prince George. He helped Lethbridge reach the Eastern Conference Championship Series in 2025, recording six points over 14 post-season games.
