Tucker Krause focuses on growth, housing and long-term planning in council bid
PRINCE GEORGE — As Prince George voters prepare to head to the polls on October 17, one of the youngest names on the ballot is hoping to bring a fresh perspective to city hall. At just 20 years old, council candidate Tucker Krause says his campaign is focused on creating opportunities that encourage young people to stay and build their futures in Prince George.
Speaking as part of election coverage ahead of the 2026 municipal election, Krause said his decision to run stems from a concern he sees among many people in his generation.
“A lot of the folks my age are choosing to leave Prince George,” he said. “My fundamental premise is to keep those folks in Prince George.”
