Bird puts inland port at top of agenda for Prince George
PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. – MLA-Elect Rosalyn Bird says developing an inland port will be her number-one priority, pitching Prince George’s location and existing transportation infrastructure as the foundation for a project built around defence, emergency-response training and international cargo.
“So my inland port is going to be my number one priority, and we’ll see what that ends up looking like,” Bird said on election night.
Her vision is built around three components, with the first tied to both her own military background and Prince George’s position in British Columbia.
