Hometown product named captain of the Quesnel River Rush

The Quesnel River Rush will have a hometown leader at the helm this season after naming Kade Lawlor as team captain for the 2026-27 campaign. For Lawlor, earning the captaincy represents more than just wearing the “C.” It’s an opportunity to lead the team representing the community where his hockey journey began and to set an example for teammates both on and off the ice.
