PRINCE GEORGE — Mayor and Council have launched into the 2018 budget for the City.
The City is outlining what items Council will have to hash out to determine the tax levy for this year.
In order to maintain services and cover off some of the financial obligations, like contracts, the City suggests a tax increase of one a half percent. That is the lowest tax increase since 2000.
There are three additional “asks” from the likes of the RCMP for two new officers.
