PRINCE GEORGE – A new two-year contract has been ratified by union members at the Caledonia Early Care and Learning Centre at CNC.
As of January 1, 2019, CUPE 4951 members will receive a six percent wage increase in the first year of the contract.
This is the second contract for these workers since joining CUPE 4951 after CNC stopped providing child care services on campus.
“Because of the good relationship between the employer and our members who work at the centre, negotiations were respectful and successful for both parties,” said CUPE 4951 President Lily Bachand.
