12 Angry Jurors Take A Stab At A Verdict In Latest Play
PRINCE GEORGE – Judy Russel’s latest production has a dozen heated jurors trying to decide whether a young boy is guilty of killing his father.
12 Angry Jurors is about to hit the stage, with a few changes from the original script. Director Anna Russell changed the title from 12 Angry Men to 12 Angry Jurors:
“It’s always been really important to me to see women on stage. I think giving women lines that have traditionally been written for men, is a great way to prove that we are just as capable of pulling the punches,” says Russell.
At the beginning of the trial the jury has a nearly unanimous decision of guilty, but throughout the play seeds of reasonable doubt are sowed.
