Province Delays Execution Of New School Curriculum For Grade 11’s & 12’s

The province announced Tuesday that they are delaying implementation of the new Grade 11 and 12 curriculum for another year after receiving feedback from staff, teachers and school districts.
The Grade 10 curriculum will roll-out as planned next September, but Grade 11 and 12’s will have to wait until September 2019.
School District 57 say they support the decision, as they believe if more time is needed then its needed.
Chair Tim Bennett says there won’t be much of a change from the current curriculum that’s taught to students.
