New Partnership for Pacific Bioenergy

It’s being hailed a win-win for both Pacific Bioenergy and the Sumitomo Corporation.
A new partnership between the two means Pacific Bioenergy can move into Asian markets, as opposed to strictly its European markets.
“We have historically out of British Columbia, out of Prince George, lead the world in bioenergy, shipping to Europe,” says Don Steele, Chairman and CEO for Pacific Bioenergy. “With the Asian markets, particularly the Japanese market, this is a whole new deal.”
As for Sumitomo, the partnership will better secure it even more as the number one importer of biomass into Japan.
