Highway 16 Open to Single Lane Alternating Traffic East Of Fraser Lake

Highway 16 has been opened to single lane alternating traffic 12 kilometres east of Fraser Lake ,after an empty tractor trailer jackknifed this morning . A logging truck going in the opposite direction ,sank in the soft shoulder of the road had to be towed . There was no crash . Police say roads were slushy,icy and snow-covered at the time.
