Prince George Fire Rescue Responds to Giscome Road Fire

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Fire Rescue made quick work of a structure fire on Giscome Road.

Assistant Chief Kevin Scobie says four halls and 17 firefighters responded last night.

“A quick attack was made by the crews and the fire was extinguished quickly. There was minimal damage to the structure.”

He says the lone occupant was able to escape without injury adding the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Scobie estimates damages at around $8,000.
