Teegee Elected as BCAFN Regional Chief

Terry Teegee has been elected as the Regional Chief of the BC Assembly of First Nations.
He defeated Chief Maureen Chapman in Thursday’s vote. The Regional Chief represents 203 First Nations across the province.
Teegee is a Registered Professional Forester and graduated from UNBC with a Bachelor of Science degree in forestry in 2006.
He has also completed his diploma in forestry technology at the College of New Caledonia.
Teegee is also the elected Tribal Chief of the Carrier Sekani Tribal Council.
He is a member of the Takla Lake First Nation but currently resides on the Lheidli T’enneh reserve.
