Suspicious Incident Involving Child

PRINCE GEORGE- On Friday January 18th, 2019 at around 4:00 p.m. the Prince George RCMP received a report of a suspicious incident involving a child. The incident occurred near the intersection of 17th Avenue and Victoria Street. A pre-teen boy was walking alone when he was approached and spoken to by a man driving an older, red, two-door rusty pickup.

The boy was able to run to a safe place but police were not immediately called. Patrols for the vehicle and driver yielded no results. 

The man was described as:

• Caucasian male
• Approximately 168 cm (5’6″)
• Heavy set build
• Short hair
• Wearing sandals, jeans and a black hoody
