UNBC Will Jointly Host T&R Forum

PRINCE GEORGE – UNBC will be joining four other smaller-sized universities in jointly hosting the 2019 National Building Reconciliation Forum, to take place in Sault St.e. Marie, Ontario.

Post-secondary education was ranked very high in the 95 recommendations set out in the Truth and Reconciliation’s Calls for Action.
The 2019 Forum “will focus on the strengths that smaller institutions bring to the national conversation on reconciliation through higher education.”

Participants at the 2019 forum will have an opportunity to explore the first major, permanent, residential school Survivor-driven exhibition located in a former residential school building.
