Local Preschool Gets Prestigious Award

PRINCE GEORGE – A local pre-school has been given a prestigious provincial award.

MLA Shirley Bond as on hand, as was representation from MLA Mike Morris’ office, to give Le Coins des Petits with the 2018 Child Care Legacy Award. The award is handed out every two years to award the contributions of early childhood educations on the lives of children every day. 

“Over the past 40 years there have been generations of families that have come under our care,” said Chantal Marquis, Early Childhood Educator. “Over that period of time, we have the opportunity to put so many children on the right path to success in life in a French environment.”

“We are so fortunate to have the dedicated staff of Le Coin Des Petits provide safe and reliable childcare and a learning environment in which children can flourish,” said Bond. “It is an honour to present this award that recognizes 40 years of dedicated service to families in our community.”
