UPDATED at 9 am, November 6th. 

The Air Quality Advisory was lifted in Vanderhoof. Cold temperatures will remain over the course of the day. No new open burning will be allowed. Until atmospheric conditions improve.

Weather conditions are making it harder to breathe for those in the community of Vanderhoof. The Ministry of Environment has issued an air quality advisory for the area. Those with compromised health are asked to avoid strenuous exercise and are recommended to stay inside. There is also a ban on open burning in the Vanderhoof Forest District until Tuesday.
