BC Hydro Investigates Widespread Outage

According to BC Hydro 5800 customers were affected by a power outage Thursday afternoon.

BC Hydro says the outage began at 2:30 pm and lasted for just over an hour. BC Hydro determined there was a problem at the Foothills power substation. However, the exact cause is not known. BC Hydro will continue to investigate.
