Village of Valemount Looking For Support

The Village of Valemount is looking for a letter of support from the Regional District Board to pursue funding to expand its airport to accommodate the Valemount Glacier Destination Resort. The letter includes a condition that it does not impede the Regional District’s ability to make decisions on any further land use with respect to the project. Mayor Jeannette Townsend says, the ski hill project is moving ahead, despite some setbacks.
