PRINCE GEORGE — Tomorrow marks anti-bullying or “Pink Shirt Day” and leadership students at Duchess Park Secondary school are taking their message not only to their schoolmates but to the rest of the community.

The students are waging a friendly competition with College Heights Secondary to see how many students wear pink to class,  and they have teamed up with the Prince George Cougars to offer five dollar tickets for teens wearing pink at Wednesday night’s hockey game.

The group has even secured sponsorship help from a couple of local businesses including Accent Dental, Lo Elliot and Porter and McMillan, to help fundraise for Elizabeth Dry.

The leadership students say they see the most bullying online,  Grade 12 student Anthony Preston says its best to think before you post anything online,  and always keep kindness in mind.
