Grant funding to help improve and connect those who live in rural, remote and indigenous communities is now accesible through the Northern Development Initiative Trust.

Applications are now being accepted for the Connecting British Columbia program. Funding is also available to help communities plan for the future by creating regional infrastructure, so homes, businesses and other institutions can connect to high-speed internet.

The funding is part of $40 million from the Province to be administered through NDIT to close “last mile” projects and close the gap between BC’s smaller communities and urban areas.
