Three Arrests In Drug & Weapons Bust

PRINCE GEORGE – Three people were arrested last Thursday evening in relation to a drug and weapons seizure near the Pine Centre Mall. Local RCMP’s Street Crew Unit tracked the trio as part of an on-going drug trafficking investigation when they found a loaded gun inside a box of cereal.

The arrests lead to a search warrant on a home on the 2200 block of Queensway, where police seized cocaine, methamphetamine, drug trafficking paraphernalia and three long guns.

A 23-year-old woman faces charges of possession of property obtained by a crime and weapons-related offences but was released on the promise to appear in court on December 5th.

The 30-year-old and 27-year-old men were later released pending further investigation.

All three individuals are well known to police and are believed to play significant roles in the local drug trade.
