Stolen Truck Suspect Arrested

QUESNEL – On Monday afternoon, RCMP received two reports about a suspicious man first in a parking lot near Broughton Avenue and then near a footbridge. Police say the man was lurking near a newer pickup truck that was believed to be stolen from Kamloops. He fled the scene before police arrived. With the second report, RCMP was told that the man was bothering pedestrians on the footbridge. Police say the man was arrested on an outstanding warrant and for being in possession of stolen property. The investigation is ongoing.
