Quesnel Mounties Investigate Double Shooting

Police in Quesnel are investigating after a double shooting early this morning.

RCMP responded to calls just after 4:30 of gunshots heard in the 900 block of Abbott Drive.  A short time after,  a vehicle believed to be involved in the incident was found in the 500 block of Doherty drive. Two men were found suffering from non life threatening injuries in a neighboring apartment building.  Both were taken to hospital.

The North District Emergency Response Team, Police Dog Services from Prince George as well as a Forensic Identification Team from Williams Lake have been called into help.  The general public is not believed to be at risk at this time.
