Cyclist Killed in First Avenue Crash

PRINCE GEORGE – A cyclist is dead following a fatal crash in the city Monday. 

Police say the cyclist was killed when she collided with a semi along First avenue.  It happened late Monday afternoon at the Queensway street intersection. 

Mounties believe female cyclist may have had her head down and drove into the trailer of the semi. The semi was turning from Queensway, onto First avenue. 

The victim hasn’t identified.  

Meantime police are reaching out to the public, hoping to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.  If you saw anything that may have been connected with the crash, you’re asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at 250 563-0111.
