PRINCE GEORGE – This year marks the 38th annual Terry Fox Run, and here in Prince George the location will be different. One thing that remains is the legacy that Fox left, including recognizing young humanitarians through the country.

Maggie Manning, a first year bio med student at UNBC has been recognized for her passion as the recipient of the Terry fox Humanitarian Award,  a four year scholarship that will help her for the next four years.  This Sunday,  Manning will be one of the anticipated 1000 to come out and walk, run, ride or wheel for Terry Fox.

Manning is a national level paralympic swimmer and has a passion for making buildings and public spaces more accessible to the disabled.

The event is moving this year to the Exploration Place parking lot,  and will begin at 10 am.  Registration is available on line or in person an hour before the race.
