Air Quality Advisory In Effect For Burns Lake

SMITHERS – An air quality advisory has been issued for Burns Lake.
The Ministry of Environment and Northern Health blame it on high concentrations of fine particulate matter.
Exposure is of particular concern for infants, the elderly and those who have diabetes, and lung or heart disease.
Open burning restrictions are now in effect for the Lakes Timber Supply Area until Friday.
