#Hope For The Salvation Army

PRINCE GEORGE – The Salvation Army is doing something unique this holiday season.

Those manning the kettles around town are handing out bracelets with hashtag Hope on them. The bracelets are part of a province-wide endeavour and there is a contest attached to it. You need to take a picture of yourself wearing the bracelet and post it on Facebook or Instagram and you will be entered into a contest to win a pair of tickets to the World Junior Hockey Championships, or an iPad or an Amazon gift card.

And it’s all for a good cause.

“The Hope Bracelet is a reminder that poverty, homelessness and addiction live in our community,” explains Bill Glasgow with the Salvation Army. “And, as a donor [to the kettles], you are supporting the work the Salvation Army does to eradicate poverty, homelessness and addiction in our community.”
