Property Assessments Reveal 10 Percent Increase In PG

PRINCE GEORGE — Property assessments are out and the majority of residential homeowners can expect a moderate increase compared to last year.

In Prince George assessments of single-family homes are up an average of 10 per cent. The assessed value of strata units is up by 9 per cent.

In northern B.C. Kitimat and 100 Mile House have seen the highest hikes at 20 per cent.

The top assessed home in Prince George is located in College Heights at just over $2.3 million dollars.
