PRINCE GEORGE — The sound of Terry Fox running during the Marathon Of Hope can be emotional for many people.

That sound has been showcased along with several of Fox’s personal items, including his prosthetic leg as well as his running shoes as part of the Marathon of Hope exhibit which is currently on display for its final week at The Exploration Place.

All the items were collected by Fox’s mother Betty, and offer visitors a unique glimpse into the story of a Canadian icon.

The Exploration Place has been home to the Marathon of Hope exhibit since October and the showcase has been wildly popular, attracting over 14,000 visitors.
