Cougars fall to Giants, drop 10 in a row

PRINCE GEORGE – The Cougars may have been happy to get off a road trip and be back at home but any notions of that were quickly crushed by the Vancouver Giants last night.

The visitors would open the scoring late in the first when Giant’s winger Davis Koch would score his 21st goal of the year.

Building off their strong first period, the Giants came out strong in the second period and would double their lead just five minutes in. The Cats would respond just over eight minutes later when Josh Curtis banged in his 9th of the season.

The Cougars would fall apart in the third period letting the Giants score twice with both goals just 36 seconds apart. Vladislav Mikhalchuk would cut the lead to two but it wouldn’t be enough as the Cougs dropped their tenth straight game.
