The Timberwolves first-ever Canada West playoff action was short lived as the Calgary Dinos swept the best of three series 2-0.

The Timberwolves were ice-cold from three-point range as they made just one three-pointer the entire game, shooting 1 for 14, compared to Calgary’s dynamic 17 for 37 shooting from three.

Calgary got out to a quick 22-10 start after the first quarter and did not look back. Calgary had a 45-23 lead at the half and then they sealed the game in the third quarter outscoring the TWolves 28-9. The TWolves did manage to win the fourth quarter 23-19 as they battled right to the end.

Madison Landry and Maria Mongomo were the only Timberwolves players to score in double digits as they had 20 and 14 points respectively. Reyna Crawford led the Dinos in scoring off the bench with 15 points on a perfect 5-5 shooting from the field, all from three. Four Dinos players scored double-digit points as they advance to face the Regina Cougars in the Canada West semifinals.
