As soon as the provincials end at Kin 1 tonight, the Cariboo Cougars will be right back ready for their second round of the BCMML Playoffs.  The major midget team advanced past the Greater Vancouver Canadians last weekend with a 2-game sweep, outscoring the 7th seeded team 8-2 and 4-2 in the quarterfinals. These games this weekend are going to be good ones. They square up against the Vancouver North East Chiefs in the semifinals. The teams met 4 times this season, with 3 of them being ties, the Cougars winning the fourth. These are also the teams that met in the BCMML’s first outdoor game in Fort St. James. These ones will be indoors, kicking off at Kin 1 Friday at 7pm, Game 2 goes Saturday at 7 as well.
