One million dollars worth of cannabis, cash seized

PRINCE GEORGE — Two people were arrested on Saturday, March 23rd, after police seized a large amount of cannabis and cash in Prince George.

A search warrant was issued at the undisclosed residence, where RCMP found more than 121 pounds of dried cannabis, a significant amount of other forms of cannabis products, several firearms, ammunition, and more than 550-thousand dollars in cash.

Operations Officer Shaun Wright said in a statement the persons were not previously known to police.

Both suspects were released without charge pending the completion of the investigation and charge approval.
