UNBC’s Mens Soccer team graduated 10 players this offseason, which makes their newest 23-year-old commit all that more valuable. He also comes to us all the way from Egypt. His name is Hussein Behery and he’s just finished three seasons with Vancouver Island University, winning a National Championship with them in 2017. The attacking midfielder and winger is a native of Cairo, Egypt and was able to tour UNBC twice before making his decision. The five-foot-eight Behery was second in scoring at VIU, netting three goals. He’s currently working towards a Bachelor of Tourism Management with a major in Recreational Sport Management, but also sites playing professional soccer as his big goal. Behery will join the squad for training camp in July.
