Kings sent off to Viper territory

After the excitement of the Spruce Kings two wins this weekend, some loyal fans returned to the Rolling Mix this afternoon to see the team off. The Kings loaded up the team bus at noon and said goodbye to the few dozen fans that came to send the team off to Vernon. Thankfully, this year’s Fred Page Cup features a much closer opponent, compared to the Wenatchee Wild last season. The Washington opponents located about twelve hours away, whereas the Kings now only have to travel about eight. The team received a firetruck escort as they left town.
